The Diploma Practice Blog

The Diploma in English Language Proficiency is a general English course in 5 levels and 17 modules.

The aim of the Diploma is to develop all four language skills, but within the different levels more emphasis will be put on particular language skills.

In Levels Intro,1 and 2 the emphasis will be on listening and speaking skills, but as the student progresses to Levels 3 and especially 4 more attention will be paid to reading and writing.

Our goal is for the student to receive an all round capability in all aspects of English and our hope is that the student can progress not only in English communication, but also academically, in their careers, and their lives.

At the end of the course students should expect to receive a solid foundation in English enabling them to communicate accurately and fluently in a spontaneous and appropriate manner.

Having passed all the exams, students will receive their Diploma from the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University at a special graduation ceremony.
